Cool Streets 2020 and Tennis at Dakota Collegiate

August 26, 2020 was a fun day on the bridge between the St. Vital and St. Boniface Wards, supporting Cool Streets Winnipeg.

Great work by Stéphane Dorge and the Centre Culturel Franco-Manitobain!

Thanks to Matt Allard and Markus Chambers for helping to fund urban beautification on 5 pedestrian bridges over the Seine River!

I was able to check out artwork on the John Bruce Bridge while door knocking in Royalwood.

The tennis/pickleball courts at ⁦Dakota Collegiate are in use! In fact, I saw people playing at 7 AM.

The official opening with co-funders Markus Chambers and Louis Riel School Division is coming soon.

I played tennis on the new courts, with one of my sons.  All five facilities (cricket, basketball, soccer field, tennis & running track) were in use at same time.

Tennis and Pickleball courts now open at Dakota Collegiate Institute
