MLA for Southdale Audrey Gordon and Coun. Brian Mayes (St. Vital) joined representatives from Collège Béliveau in Windsor Park to announce a $60,000 upgrade to the school’s basketball court recently. The work is scheduled to be done this summer.
"I am proud to provide $27,000 in provincial funding to make this project a reality for the Windsor Park area," Gordon said in a statement.
"Many students from my ward attend school at Béliveau, and this was a great example of different groups working together to get things done," Mayes added in the same release.
