Winnipeggers invited to provide feedback on draft lot-split guidelines: October 2, 2020

A second post on the City’s potential plan to encourage four times the density in areas with “improved” gravel lanes, versus no lot-splitting on “mud” lanes.

Photo 1 (with the recycling bin) shows an “improved” gravel lane behind Imperial Avenue, while the second photo is a "mud" lane off St. David Street. How can Imperial Avenue's lane be considered “improved”?

The City staff need to accept the reality that gravel lanes are not suitable for lot-splits nor quadrupling the area's density.
