I was on CBC discussing my motion, passed by the Water committee, to phase out the sewer “dividend” over 10 years; the dividend moves $40 million annually from sewer revenues into general revenue. Then Councillor Scott Gillingham started phase-out in 2019 but paused during Covid. It's time to re-start.
