As Canstar amalgamates local papers, it appears the paper name “The Lance” may be passing into history. Formerly the St. Vital Lance. Did this cause Dakota Collegiate to be “Lancers”? Hope to have some sort of celebration / wake for The Lance at the St. Vital Museum and Historical Society when COVID allows.

Bonivital Pool is getting major upgrades- $5.3M in the budget.
Bonivital Pool is a great, but ageing, amenity for St. Boniface and St.Vital. This pool modernization will complement the new Windsor Park library next door.
