Twelve years after I first raised the idea with City staff for advance yellow flashing lights at River & Abinojii Mikanah (formerly Bishop Grandin), I am pleased to see the lights in place & working.
Kudos to my Dakota Collegiate, Winnipeg teacher Dennis Nord for championing this. I was informed that he passed away recently. This is just a little tribute to his commitment to community.
