On December 30th, I was pleased to attend the Dr. Jose Rizal dinner and Youth Recognition Awards ceremony with the Knights of Rizal and many other elected officials.

It was a proud husband moment for me as my wife Dr. Alison Marshall delivered the Keynote speech, referencing various Winnipeg places that honour Dr. Rizal; the hero of Philippine Independence.
